6 Shocking side-effects of apple cider vinegar That You Don’t know – Health and Fitness || Life Care

Apple cider vinegar is a natural tonic. It has several health benefits that are supported by scientific studies in humans. Many of you already know that apple cider vinegar helps in weight loss, fight inflammation, kill cancer and act as a digestive remedy. However, people have also raised concerns about its safety and possible side effects. So, is apple cider vinegar really good for you? Apple cider vinegar is a pungent vinegar made with fermented apples. Apart from several health benefits, there are also several side effects of apple cider vinegar due to its high acetic acid content. Take a look at what happens when you take too much of it. Number one. Damaged tooth enamel. Apple cider vinegar is highly acidic, and it can damage the enamel on your teeth. So be careful before taking too much. Number two. Lowers blood sugar level. Apple cider vinegar also has an antiglycemic effect on blood sugar, overuse of ACV can lower glucose levels in the bloodstream. Blood sugar may suddenly drop leading to blackouts. Number three. Lowered potassium levels. Consuming ACV excessively might decrease potassium levels in the body.

Low potassium, medically termed hypokalemia, can cause heart arrhythmias, nausea, muscle weakness, constipation, fatigue and low blood pressure. Number four. Affects bone health. Apple Cider Vinegar can reduce the bone mineral density making our bone weak and fragile. It’s a known fact that high acid consumption can hamper formation of bones and aid bone loss. Number five. Diuretic effect. Apple cider vinegar flushes out extra toxins and makes you urinate more often. If continued, this could lead to dehydration. Number six. Acne And itchy skin. Apple cider vinegar can damage and erode tissues, if used in excessive amounts. ACV has high acidic level that dries up the oil in your body and can cause itchy skin. .
