<p>For instance, <b>Major Depressive Disorder</b>, as delineated in the DSM, is characterised by symptoms such as reduced interest in formerly enjoyed activities, significant weight change, a slowing down of thought and physical movements, fatigue, feelings of worthlessness, diminished ability to think or concentrate, and recurrent thoughts of death. The individual must exhibit a certain mix of these symptoms for a minimum of two weeks to be considered for a diagnose.</p>
