The most obvious reason why people dread wash
days is the process of detangling, where you're this close to ripping your scalp off and the
breakage and hair fall that comes with it is no joke, but this one extra step of TLC in
the form of hair oiling has turned out to be a game changer. So instead of drenching
your hair in oil, here's what you need to do! Just take enough oil to coat your
scalp and the length of your hair. Start detangling with your fingers first, followed
by a wide tooth comb. Oil acts as a conditioning agent and helps ease the detangling process,
which means less hair fall and less breakage. If your hair is best friends with gravity and is
brittle and prone to breakage? It's the hard water that is to be blamed. Hard water creates a film on
the hair and makes it difficult for moisture to penetrate.
End result, hair fall and premature
greying but there's a simple solution to this. Attach a shower filter to convert
hard water into soft water, or you can even use filtered water as the
last rinse while washing your hair. Don't you think you could reverse a lot of
things in your life? But for now let's just stick to reverse hair washing to keep that
mane intact. This hot trend has only recently gained popularity but I've been doing it for
years, so take it from me it totally works. Wet your hair and start by applying conditioner
first and leave it on for a few minutes. Rinse it out and follow up with a gentle shampoo. Focus only on your scalp and let the foam
clean the rest of your hair while rinsing. The conditioner acts as a protective
barrier against the cleansing agents present in the shampoo, so that when your
hair dries it is full of shine and volume. Including Apple Cider Vinegar
in your morning ritual is not just great for your gut, but also for your
hair care routine. Dilute one part of ACV with three parts of water and rinse
your hair with it after you shampoo.
Leave it on for a few minutes and then rinse again. ACV is an excellent scalp cleanser removes buildup and balances the pH level, leaving your
follicles super healthy and ready for new growth. So, the next time you plan to wash your hair, use
these tips so that you and I both are certain we don't get boiled anytime soon. Until next
time stay tuned and stay Glamrs.
